Housing insecurity is real, personal, and prevalent, but we’re solving it. Let us show you how.
We secure funding to develop affordable rental units, single-family homes, and Limited Equity Cooperatives.
We invest in preserving and renovating buildings to provide high-quality, deeply affordable rental and Limited Equity Cooperative homes to reduce the shortage of housing that is affordable and available for extremely low income residents.
We leverage laws such as the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act to fight displacement and increase affordable housing opportunities for generations to come.
Single Family Homes:
Providing affordable housing
for families of all sizes
Since its founding Mi Casa has renovated 60 single properties into energy-efficient affordable homes for first-time homebuyers. Watch Kesley and Andrea’s story for an example of how the development of single family homes makes it possible for families to stay in the District.
Affordable Rental Housing
“We have everything we need in our apartment, and live in a comfortable place, which is affordable for us. Mi Casa made this possible for us.”
Our rental buildings, with a total of 267 units offer affordable housing to 567 residents.
