A 12-unit affordable rental building in Ward 4 made up of mostly 2 bedrooms, 5400 5th Street provides much-needed affordable apartments for Latino and other immigrant families and long-term District residents, with incomes falling below 30%, 50% and 60% AMI. Mi Casa secured a 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit award from the DC Department of Housing and Community Development and equity from the National Equity Fund and is completing a full building renovation for 5th Street and Good Hope Road.
